The 2025 Suzhou Dushu Lake Collegiate Paddleboarding Championship, part of the SIP Golden Autumn ? Three Lakes Carnival, was held on Dushu Lake in SIP on Oct 25, attracting about 160 students and faculty members from 18 universities and colleges.

The event consisted of a women’s 200-meter race, a men’s 200-meter race and a 200-meter race of mixed teams, which were devised to test the participants’ explosiveness, balance and teamwork.

As the starting whistle blew, the boards glided like arrows under the autumn sun, while cheers from the shore added to the exciting atmosphere. After fierce races, the champions emerged.

On the shore, a lively festival area gathered 15 catering and sports brands, offering everything from food and beverage to interactive experiences like pickleball and skiing on a ski simulator.
