Floral displays have been set up in SIP to celebrate the National Day that is observed nationwide on Oct 1 every year, and the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival which, reckoned on the fifteenth day of the eighth month on the Chinese lunar calendar, will fall on Oct 6 this year.

The floral display at Guobin Road is eye-catching. It features a shape of a sailing boat surging through ocean waves, with fish swimming and birds soaring around. A vibrant mix of nearly 30,000 pots of seasonal flowers and ornamental plants forms the layered base, creating a rippling effect. The display symbolizes the unstoppable momentum of SIP’s development.

The floral decorations along roads and bridges are also striking, rendering an elegant and vibrant atmosphere across SIP.
