A sketching tour was launched in SIP on May 10 when a number of artists and art enthusiasts visited Taohua Island in the center of Jinji Lake to draw sketches.

Last year, SIP Public Cultural Center initiated the “Drawing SIP” sketching program with the aim of expanding public aesthetic education and recording SIP’s evolution through the pens of artists and art enthusiasts.

This year’s tour, themed “One Day in SIP”, comprises a series of visits to SIP’s iconic landmarks such as the Ferris wheel by Jinji Lake and the Yangcheng Lake cycling track. The participants will have the chances to receive the certificate for “Urban Sketcher” and have their works exhibited.
