A job fair was held at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) in SIP’s Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District on Nov 5, when over 50 employers offered more than 800 job and internship opportunities to foreign students from schools in the district.

The event attracted about 600 foreign students from nearly 90 countries and regions including France, Italy, South Korea, Pakistan, Singapore and Russia.

The job fair was paired with a roundtable discussion where the participating guests exchanged opinions on a series of topics such as methods that international talents could take to quickly adapt to the corporate culture in a Chinese company. The guests also offered advice for foreign students to seek and land jobs in SIP.

The staff from Suzhou Industrial Park One-stop Service Centre for Expats provided consultancy on its services for international talents.
