SIP’s Weiting Sub-district has devised a series of events to ring in the Year of the Horse, offering residents diverse immersive cultural experiences.
Several events were held in communities and office buildings where calligraphy enthusiasts wrote Spring Festival couplets with auspicious messages for the Year of the Horse and presented them to the participating residents.

Various fairs and markets were held across the sub-district, allowing residents to shop for goods, experience traditional handcrafts and take family photos.
Traditional Chinese opera and pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect) performances were staged for local residents.

Other highlights included a Chinese chess competition and a nostalgic photo exhibition that evoked shared memories among residents.

So far, Weiting Sub-district has organized 12 Spring Festival events, and communities in the sub-district have held 37 activities, attracting over 6,000 participants in total.
